The Best:
I taught a good class today, and I let my students go early for their Spring Break. I showed them a few videos with people speaking about things that are important, and I hope they got some ideas that will stick with them.
The Worst:
I got upset in the car today. Someone pulled out in front of me, and I almost hit her. I yelled and got myself all worked up.

This book was my inspiration for beginning this blog. It's an excellent reference for a student new to yoga with excerpts from the Yoga Sutra as well as explanations and applications to modern life. The teaching is presented through the story of a young yogini who is transporting the Yoga Sutra to Tibet, which makes it an easy read. Reading it has been a profound experience for me.
I saw Blair Lewis speak recently, and his ideas about a revolution towards consciously choosing happiness were profound. I've not gotten the book yet, but I hope to soon. I'm looking forward to learning more about his approach to uncovering the quiet place that's inside all of us.
