The Best:
I've gotten a lot of work done this morning, and I've written to some artists who haven't gotten a lot of attention. I might be giving some folks a big break!
The Worst:
My husband took the car to go to the grocery store. I knew he was going to be stealing things, and I hate that, but I don't stop him from taking my car because it's not worth it to me to fight with him. He took the car for longer than I wanted it gone, too. I'm not taking care of myself when I let him use my things in ways I don't like.

This book was my inspiration for beginning this blog. It's an excellent reference for a student new to yoga with excerpts from the Yoga Sutra as well as explanations and applications to modern life. The teaching is presented through the story of a young yogini who is transporting the Yoga Sutra to Tibet, which makes it an easy read. Reading it has been a profound experience for me.
I saw Blair Lewis speak recently, and his ideas about a revolution towards consciously choosing happiness were profound. I've not gotten the book yet, but I hope to soon. I'm looking forward to learning more about his approach to uncovering the quiet place that's inside all of us.
