The Worst
I freaked out when they started talking about asking us to pay for the seminar I was attending. I'd been under the impression that it was donation based, and so I was afraid to stay and register properly because I thought they might try to make me pay the full $150, which I can't afford. I'd decided to pay $15 for each session, so I left after a first session today to make what I owe only $30. I plan to rectify this in the morning to keep it from becoming a situation where I was stealing. I hope that I haven't done something wrong.
The Best
I made a batch of hot water for everyone else at the seminar to have tea, and I brought my husband home a big container of Gatorade to help him with his sick stomach. Now I am home with him, and we are going to nap together. When I wake up, maybe I'll walk the dogs. That would be kind for them.

Morning.
I didn't write last night. I am not sure if I should try to make up for not writing when I skip or move on to now. Last night was complicated.
The Best:
I shared with my boss about a meditation session that I am planning to attend.
The Worst:
Once again, I am stealing from work by doing outside work here. I started by doing step work for my 12 step writing workshop, and then I did work for my job interview for another adjunct teaching position I have this afternoon. I am still working on the material for the job interview.
I am having a hard time with this problem. I do want to plant good seeds; I don't want to steal. However, I don't like the owner of the company, and I don't have enough work to do to keep me fully busy. I need the money since my husband isn't working. I know I am justifying my issues. There is work related to this job that I could do, like further networking or organizing artwork, but I feel that my needs are more pressing than living honestly while at work.
I can tell when I am justifying because I indulge in lots of "buts" and "yets" and "becauses."

Morning
The Best:
The best thing I've done so far today is to take a very conscious shower after my morning yoga. I turned the water off to lather up and shampoo my hair to try to conserve water.
The Worst:
I graded some papers while I was on the clock at my other job. That's a form of stealing from my employer.
