The Worst:
I've not got too much that's interestingly good or bad going on today. I am borrowing a lot of trouble about my husband feeling better. He isn't so sick now, so I am afraid he won't start going to meetings right. It freaks me out.
The Best:
I've gotten a lot of work done, and I've expressed kindness to my friends. I'm karmically uneventful...maybe I'm even!

This book was my inspiration for beginning this blog. It's an excellent reference for a student new to yoga with excerpts from the Yoga Sutra as well as explanations and applications to modern life. The teaching is presented through the story of a young yogini who is transporting the Yoga Sutra to Tibet, which makes it an easy read. Reading it has been a profound experience for me.
I saw Blair Lewis speak recently, and his ideas about a revolution towards consciously choosing happiness were profound. I've not gotten the book yet, but I hope to soon. I'm looking forward to learning more about his approach to uncovering the quiet place that's inside all of us.
