The Best:
I gave some students constructive, but critical, feedback during the conferences I had with them today. I hope it was helpful for them. Giving criticism is hard for me, so I'm glad I was able to do it.
The Worst:
I got frustrated in the car when someone slammed on brakes in front of me.

This book was my inspiration for beginning this blog. It's an excellent reference for a student new to yoga with excerpts from the Yoga Sutra as well as explanations and applications to modern life. The teaching is presented through the story of a young yogini who is transporting the Yoga Sutra to Tibet, which makes it an easy read. Reading it has been a profound experience for me.
I saw Blair Lewis speak recently, and his ideas about a revolution towards consciously choosing happiness were profound. I've not gotten the book yet, but I hope to soon. I'm looking forward to learning more about his approach to uncovering the quiet place that's inside all of us.
