Morning.

The Best:

I took a quick shower to let the person in line after me have a chance.

The Worst:

I am thinking mean things about my husband and being wary of him.

This book was my inspiration for beginning this blog. It's an excellent reference for a student new to yoga with excerpts from the Yoga Sutra as well as explanations and applications to modern life. The teaching is presented through the story of a young yogini who is transporting the Yoga Sutra to Tibet, which makes it an easy read. Reading it has been a profound experience for me.

I saw Blair Lewis speak recently, and his ideas about a revolution towards consciously choosing happiness were profound. I've not gotten the book yet, but I hope to soon. I'm looking forward to learning more about his approach to uncovering the quiet place that's inside all of us.
