The Best:
I am trying to make peace with my mother-in-law. I have been harboring some serious resentments, but I'm working through them. I'm not sure if I'm handling it the best way possible, but I'm handling it.
The Worst:
My husband and I talked briefly about how I don't want him to use my car when he's going to be stealing anymore, and he said he wouldn't use the car at all. I agreed that would be for the best. About 2 hours later, he took my car, went to the store, and stole something. I haven't said anything to him yet.

This book was my inspiration for beginning this blog. It's an excellent reference for a student new to yoga with excerpts from the Yoga Sutra as well as explanations and applications to modern life. The teaching is presented through the story of a young yogini who is transporting the Yoga Sutra to Tibet, which makes it an easy read. Reading it has been a profound experience for me.
I saw Blair Lewis speak recently, and his ideas about a revolution towards consciously choosing happiness were profound. I've not gotten the book yet, but I hope to soon. I'm looking forward to learning more about his approach to uncovering the quiet place that's inside all of us.
