The Worst:
I got frustrated with my students tonight. They were being pretty annoying, not listening and expressing that they don't care about my class very loudly; however, my reaction was based on bad news that I got today more than anything that they did.
The Best:
I set another boundary with my mother. That is really hard for me, and I'm proud of myself for being able to do it.

This book was my inspiration for beginning this blog. It's an excellent reference for a student new to yoga with excerpts from the Yoga Sutra as well as explanations and applications to modern life. The teaching is presented through the story of a young yogini who is transporting the Yoga Sutra to Tibet, which makes it an easy read. Reading it has been a profound experience for me.
I saw Blair Lewis speak recently, and his ideas about a revolution towards consciously choosing happiness were profound. I've not gotten the book yet, but I hope to soon. I'm looking forward to learning more about his approach to uncovering the quiet place that's inside all of us.
