The Best:
I've gotten a lot done at work today, and I taught a good lesson in my class that my students seemed to enjoy.
The Worst:
I am struggling to keep my students for the entire length of time that the class is scheduled. They are nearly done with their latest essays, so they are difficult to keep in the room...when I let them go early, I'm not fulfilling my contractual obligations, which is a form of stealing.

This book was my inspiration for beginning this blog. It's an excellent reference for a student new to yoga with excerpts from the Yoga Sutra as well as explanations and applications to modern life. The teaching is presented through the story of a young yogini who is transporting the Yoga Sutra to Tibet, which makes it an easy read. Reading it has been a profound experience for me.
I saw Blair Lewis speak recently, and his ideas about a revolution towards consciously choosing happiness were profound. I've not gotten the book yet, but I hope to soon. I'm looking forward to learning more about his approach to uncovering the quiet place that's inside all of us.
