The Best:

I finally finished writing my two hardest amends letters for my ninth step. I still have to send them, but just having written them is such a release. I have one more to do before I can let myself off the hook.

The Worst:

I engaged my husband in an argument that was stupid. I'm not sure if I said something wrong or not...I said, "I'm not sure what I bought a house for," meaning, "Wow. That was a stupid thing to do to get myself into this financial bind." He heard, "Wow. That was a stupid thing to do to get myself into this financial bind WITH YOU, YOU UNEMPLOYED JUNKY LOSER." Perhaps I should have chosen my words more carefully? Perhaps I shouldn't have gotten upset when he got upset. He's crazy.
